Prerequisite: The following instructions only apply to Coworks customers who are on the "Custom/Enterprise" branded tier. To upgrade your account please reach out to support@coworks.com.

How to get your custom, branded app ready for launch:

  1. Create an App Store Developer account

In order to list your app on the app store, you must create an Apple Developer account. This is a mandatory step that is required by Apple to list your app publicly. Apple charges an annual membership fee of $99/year. Learn how to set that up here.

  2. Add Coworks as a trusted number + Send Credentials

    1. After you've made your account, we want to be able to do as much of the heavy lifting as possible. The easiest way for us to do that is for you to send us your app store credentials and allow us to handle the entire process for you. Please send us your email/password to your account

    2. Additionally, you must add our Coworks number as a trusted number. Since Apple has 2-Factor authentication, it requires a code to be inserted upon login. That code is texted to the numbers in your account. Adding our number allows us to login without bothering you for a code. Here's how to add our number.

  3. Send us your App Icon, App Name, App Login Photo

    1. App Icon: This it the app that shows up on your iPhone screen and in the app store listing. Please send over a square app icon of 1024x1024 size. (see example usage below)

    2. App Name: The name as it will appear both in the app store and on the device (please try to limit the characters. Names cannot exceed 50 characters).

    3. Login Photo: A vertical rectangular image (reccomeded 1500x3000px) that shows when the app first loads. This is typically a nice photo of your space or brand. See this article for an example.

Be sure to also fill out the rest of your space branding details described here to fully customize your app's appearance.

Happy Coworking!
