SETUP REQUIRED: If this is your first zap in Coworks, please stop and make sure you've completed the necessary setup steps here. Once you get to section 2, please skip those steps and start here.

Example Zap - Add Coworks captured leads into Hubspot

In this example, we're going to make sure that all leads that are captured into the Coworks CRM are automatically added to Hubspot as Contacts.

*Pro Tip: If you upgrade to multi-step zaps, you can add more steps. For example after creating a contact, you could attach that contact to a team, and attach the team to a deal in your deal pipeline stages

Here is the breakdown:
App 1 - Coworks

Trigger- New Contact Created

App 2 - Hubspot

Action - Create Contact

Summary: When X(New Contact Created) in Coworks, do Y (Create Contact) in Hubspot

Here's how to set it up

  1. Click on Make a Zap and find Coworks as the app. Select "New Contact" as the trigger.

Note: Currently Coworks only supports the ability to trigger for all contacts (meaning leads and contacts). You can not, for example, set up a trigger for just leads created.

2. Find your account and select your campus (the context in which the contact was made).

3. Select Hubspot as the second app, select or connect your Hubspot account, and for the Action, we are selecting to "Create Contact."

4. With Hubspot as the "2nd step" in this zap, we're going to instruct Hubspot to add this contact from Coworks as a new Hubspot contact. In this step, you actually can use the information from the contact you just captured from Coworks to populate the fields on the contact in Hubspot (like email, first name, last name etc.)

Simply build a new contact in Hubspot by mapping the corresponding fields from the Coworks lead.

Here we're mapping the Coworks lead email to the contact email in Hubspot

After you're finished, customizing the new contact, go ahead and save it and give it a test.

Once successful, turn on your zap and watch your Hubspot get populated every time you've added a new lead!
