We know that every space has their own internal processes for onboarding members. With Coworks, we give you the tools to track and manage those members. We added a built-in custom field in the member profile that allows you to manually indicate when a member has fully completed their onboarding.

How the Onboarding Status field works

You can view this field by going to the member's profile. If you need to update their Onboarding Status, you can click "Edit" on their profile page.

From there, you can edit the "Onboarding Status" dropdown, which allows you to set a status of "Onboarded" or "Not Onboarded."

All members are set to "Not Onboarded" by default. Managers must manually update this field to set it to "Onboarded".

Once set, this field will allow you filter members in the directory and keep track via reports, so you can know who has and hasn't completed their onboarding. You can also leverage the "Custom Fields" at the bottom of a member profile to keep track of certain attributes related to onboarding.

You can also utilize the "Notes" feature located at the very bottom of the member profile to help you keep track.

An example of some onboarding steps could be:

  1. Downloaded App

  2. Completed Tour

  3. Picked Up Key Fob

  4. Signed Member Agreement

  5. Attended Orientation Meeting.

Once a member has done these steps, you may want to go to their profile and mark them as "Onboarded" so your team knows that this member has completed their onboarding.

Happy Coworking!
