Coworks offers a powerful member and visitor check-in tablet system to track space utilization. Visitor check-ins are stored automatically in our powerful CRM so that you have access to information on people who come in/out of your space.

Sometimes, you may not want to force people to give you their email address for privacy reasons. This setting will allow you to make the email field for visitor check-ins optional.

How to make the "Email" field on visitor check-ins optional

Go to the Community tab here.

In the "Check-ins" section, use the "Enable optional email" toggle to control if the email field is optional for visitor check-ins. This will make visitor check-ins no longer require an email address to submit.

Warning: Turning on this setting will disable the contact from being stored in the CRM. You can still see a log of the check-in event in the Check-ins tab.

On the check-in tablet, you'll see an "optional" field for emails when going through the visitor check-in process. This field will no longer be required to submit.

Happy Coworking!
