The Coworks+Unifi Integration is one of the most powerful door access integrations on the market. Coworks also offers a powerful member and visitor check-in tablet system to track space utilization. You can automatically create check-ins in Coworks whenever someone unlocks one of your doors in Unifi.
Prerequisites: Must have an active Unifi integration using the steps here.
Setup
Head to your campus settings by clicking the Settings gear in the top right of the admin dashboard.
In the "Integrations" section on the left, there is a toggle to "Enable door group access for Auto Checkin." Turn on that toggle, and click "Save" near the bottom of the page.
You can choose your preferred Checkin Method:
By Door: This will check in any user that unlocks any of the assigned doors. (e.g. any time front door is unlocked, create a checkin for that member)
By User: This will create a check in for any user who is assigned to the attached door groups. (e.g. any users who have this door assigned to them, create a checkin when they unlock the door)
Now, any time a member or visitor unlocks your door via the app, it will look up that user in Coworks and create a check-in for them automatically. You can view these check-ins from the Check-ins tab in the admin dashboard.
Note: This feature will only work for members added to Unifi via the Coworks + Unifi integration. Reach out to our support team for help syncing existing Unifi users to Coworks.
