How to make events Public or Private by default
Go to the Community tab.
Select the "Calendar" section.
Use the "Events public by default" toggle to control if events should be public or private by default.
Note: You will still have the choice to change this setting upon new event creation, but you should set the default to be whichever way you set your events to be most often.
