Stripe collects various fees on all transactions processed using a Stripe account. Some of these fees can be passed on to your customers, if you'd like, while some of these fees cannot, and will be taken out of your payouts from Stripe.

Stripe's pricing page has more information on the various fees collected by Stripe, and an overview of their fees can be found below.

Credit card transaction processing fee

Payments submitted using a credit card will have a transaction processing fee from Stripe. This fee is 2.9% of the transaction total, plus $.30.

If you'd like, you can choose to pass this fee on to your customers in your Coworks community settings. Check out this Help Center article for more information on how to set this up within your Coworks community settings.

Bank account transaction processing fee

Stripe collects a transaction processing fee of .8% (capped at $5) for all payments submitted using a bank account.

If you'd like, you can choose to pass this fee on to your customers in your Coworks community settings. Check out this Help Center article for more information on how to set this up within your Coworks community settings.

Stripe Billing fee

Stripe somewhat recently introduced a billing fee for recurring transactions, which is taken out of your payouts from Stripe. This billing fee is .5% of the transaction total, and is unable to be passed on to your customers, as it's taken out of your payouts after the payment for the transaction has been collected.

More information on this recurring billing fee can be found on Stripe's billing pricing page.

Stripe Invoicing fee

Stripe somewhat recently introduced an invoicing fee for one-off transactions, which is taken out of your payouts from Stripe. This billing fee is .4% of the transaction total, and is unable to be passed on to your customers, as it's taken out of your payouts after the payment for the transaction has been collected.

More information on this one-off invoicing fee can be found on Stripe's invoicing pricing page.
