How to use the member check-in system to accurately track and manage who has been in your space

How can members check themselves in?

Members can check themselves in using our front desk/check-in tablet app. If you aren't currently using this feature, find out how to set it up here.

Once your front desk tablet app is all set, members can easily check themselves in by clicking on the "Check-in" button and choosing "Member".

From there, they can begin typing a name (minimum of 3 characters required) and select themselves from the list to check-in.

After choosing "Check-in," the member will be automatically checked-in and receive a confirmation email.

Managers can then manage and view all current check-ins in the admin dashboard, as well as add/edit/remove check-ins. More on that below:

Member Check-in Log

Navigate to the Check-ins tab in the staff admin panel to see a list of all the most recent check-ins in your space.

You can sort the check-ins by clicking on the column headers to sort by that field.

Clicking a second time will change the sort direction (from ascending to descending and vice versa).

The default sort position will show you the most recent check-ins so that it's easy to see who is in your space today.

You can also filter check-ins by choosing a date range (like yesterday, last month, etc.) or by searching for a specific member in the search box.

Checking In Members from the Admin Panel

  1. In the Check-ins tab, click "New Check-in" near the top right of the page

  2. Search for the member in the search bar

  3. Select the member and click "Check-in" to check them in to your space
    ​

Note: Members who are currently "checked in" to your space can't be checked in again in the same day without first checking out.

Viewing/Editing Check-ins

In the check-in log, click "Edit" on the check-in you want to edit.

Here you can edit check-in/out times or delete the check-in. You can also view who created the check-in and when.

Directory Check-ins

Scrolling through the member directory will also show you who is actively checked in. Checked in members are identified with the green check-in icon on the bottom left of their profile picture.


Click "Member Actions" to check people in and out directly from the directory.

In the member detail, you can also find a historical list of check-ins for that user with the same filter and sort abilities as the check-ins tab.

Check-ins Report

You can download the member check-ins report directly from the check-ins tab or by going to the Reports tab and scrolling to the "Check-ins" section.
