How To Use Booking Lead Time

Set a minimum time in advance that bookings can be made to ensure proper lead time before reservations

With Booking lead times, you can set a minimum time in advance that members are allowed to create bookings in your space. Suppose you need to make sure that a staff member is available for a room to be booked. Perhaps you don't allow same day bookings. The booking lead time feature is a great way to enforce a proper lead time that works for you.

Set the minimum time in advance

To use this feature, head over your campus settings by clicking the gear in top corner of your header in the dashboard

In the "Calendar" section, you'll find a setting called "Minimum time in advance in minutes". To set or update this value, click the "Edit" button in the top right corner of this page. In the lead time field you can insert the number of minutes in advance you'd like to enforce before each member booking. For example, you may wish to enforce that all members must book time at least 1 hour in advance.

Click the "Save" button at the bottom to save this setting.

Now, every time a member books through the member app, it will automatically force them to book out in advance based on your settings. Even if there are rooms open "right now," members are forced to follow your minimum lead times.
