The membership agreement feature will allow you to block usage of the member app until your latest agreement is accepted by the member. You can change the agreement URL as many times as you want, and it will make sure the member has accepted the latest agreement.

How to set up the Membership Agreement

  1. Go to the Community tab in the admin dashboard.

  2. Select the "Onboarding" section on the left.

  3. Enter the URL for your membership agreement in the "Membership Agreement Url" field.
Make sure you use a proper URL format when entering the membership agreement URL. The system will automatically detect the date that the URL was edited, and will prompt members in the mobile app to accept the membership agreement when the URL is updated.

  4. After you update this field, when a member opens the member app, they will be prompted to agree to your new membership agreement before they can use the app. Once the member accepts the terms, it will not prompt them again unless you update the membership agreement URL or use the "Reset Agreement" option described below.

How to re-trigger the membership agreement for your members

If you want to prompt your members to accept your membership agreement again, you can do so using the "Reset Agreement" option. This is useful if you've updated the membership agreement but haven't changed the URL where it's hosted.

To re-trigger the membership agreement for your members, go to the Membership Agreement URL section of your Community settings, as outlined above. Then, click on the "Reset Agreement" option to re-trigger the agreement for your members.
