When making a booking or an event, you have the option to choose between a Room or a Location. Each has a different use case, and only Rooms are related to the spaces in your community.

Rooms

Rooms (Conference Rooms, Spaces, and Equipment, if enabled) represent bookable spaces in your campus. They are powered by the Coworks booking system and have conflicts enforced (which prevent double bookings).

Location/"Somewhere else"

This is more of a "catch-all" name for a place in or outside your campus that you don't have in the Coworks system. This is useful for things like "Parking Lot", "Common Room", "Online," or something that is atypical for when creating your bookings or events.

Happy Coworking!
